As faculty of Management Science, I saw a book of research methodology in hands of student where I found executive summary in component of proposal and in proposal I never find executive summary. So I am asking whether it is needed or not? Hope have your answer.
Executive summary gives in brief about the project and its findings. A reader can come to know quickly what the project is all about by reading the summary. Thus it is required in the project report.
The purpose of an executive summary of a business plan is to summarize the main points of the plan for its readers. I believe that the executive summary is an advance organizer for the reader.
Executive summary is part of a proposal to help business people have a quick idea of what is being proposed. A professor will NOT be interested in an executive summary. which is often designed to catch the attention of a business person... a professor or lecturer may not be impressed, I would think.
