There are often problems/discussion reagarding authorship of new manuscripts in scientific journals.
In this context, maybe a head of department, institution leader or equals sometimes try to claim senior authorship or "honorary authorships" of those texts. This is sometimes associated without an active participation in experimental / intellectual work and/or any substantial manuscript preparation (thus, beside editorial work or generation of more or less useful additional aspects/ideas).
In this regard, I would like to ask: "what do you think about ICMJE criteria?" (Especially, in the context of authorship and author rights).
