I spent the same moments, my master's student whom I supervised finished his thesis defense and got an excellent degree.. I was so happy and proud of him. And sincerly he deserve ot cuz he is active, serious and very smart and good students.. Congrat for him. Inshallah many other sucees.

I do feel proud and happy that they are ready to for the next chapter in their lives . Thanks to communication network , I am in touch with a small subset of them till date - 10+years and beyond . They tell me stories :)

Pleasure and more joy

My role as a teacher is to clear up students' roads. At the end of the defense, a candle (student) is light up. So, I have a suport that reinforces my light as a teacher and of course it's a very good feeling.

I personally have a feeling of satisfaction, proud to becoming a good and successful teacher.

What do you feel when your student finish discussion his thesis or dissertation and gets a high degree?

I feel tired and want to have a rest.

Its a normal process for a teacher just like regular checking the given assignments.

If its in higher education like PhD, certainly there will be few students and it makes some sense. It makes proud towards students.

It is a great fulfilment and an honor to groom a student to reach the goal of a higher degree. I become overjoyed.

I feel then that I have completed part of my education letter, which is the graduation of successful students in the field of specialization, qualified to complete the scientific process after we retire from work by reaching the legal age of retirement.

The basic purpose of an educational institution and a teacher is to produce human resource of good quality needed for future. If it is of doctorate level then one can feel that I could produce human resource of highest level which is the prime requirement of any country. I feel happy when my Ph.D students gets degree after submitting his or her thesis. I have produced 22 PhD's under my guidance. I remain in touch with them and help them in their future research work also. I feel satisfaction when I do something for my Ph.D students. Definitely, I feel happy if they do well in their research work.
