In general, does it seem likely that brain dysfunctions come from a misfiring/miscommunication between brain areas/networks that should be firing in synchronous waves but aren't?
AND if so, then would a good intervention be to increase the 'noise', i.e. practice complex sensory-motor activities that cause internal interference? My thinking behind this is, in a complex system, activating certain stabilizing feedback loops can have powerful corrective effects. And if the norm has become noise, then making it more noisy may strengthen the stabilizing process of noise reduction.
This is in the same way that if you favor one side when doing a squat, and you're shifting your hips to one side, the way to correct the posture is to pull the hips farther to that side, so they are forced to overcompensate in the desired direction.
