In an positively biased metal box, plasma is produced by electron beam. If the plasma were produced first, and then rise the biased potential, how does the plasma potential change? Since the plasma could shield the high potential via plasma sheath, will the plasma potential remain unchanged?
In another way, if I rise the biased potential first, and then produce the plasma, what the situation would be? would the plasma potential remains the same as the first situation, or almost be equal to the box potential (because the space potential is equal to box potential before the plasma is produced)?
