I am working on E.coli bacteria for creating pores in anode, for that purpose. I have to heat the anode (8:1 TiO2 : C.B and E.coli) up-to 400C to burn all E.coli and create porosity. But at that high temperature, most metals oxidizes.
I tried Cu, and SS-304, but they oxidized. What else I can use, Ti, Pt?
I have SS mesh, used as substrate. Yes platinum is expensive. I burnt the sample in vacuum furnace (in Ar), Cu still oxidized.

CrNi steel AISI 304 is generally not recommended for use above approx. 250 ºC.
A better option might be CrNi steel AISI 316L, which, in principle, could be considered up to around 500 ºC.
I see you tried Ar but still got oxidation. What's the oxygen source? do you have a leak or is there some other material in your sample that is producing oxygen in your process? Can you use 'forming gas' (3-5% H2 in N2) to scavenge the oxygen? I've ripped the O2 off SnO2 using low H2 in N2 (at 500C), so it ought to work to prevent/reverse oxidation of your Al. Tin melts at that temperature (Tin oxide doesn't), so the result was a bunch of tiny tin balls all over the substrate (poor wetting). You shouldn't see melting with Al at 400C so your morphology should be preserved. You'd need to consider if the H2 would adversely interact with any of your other components. A slight, low cost increase in process complexity might enable you to stick with cheap materials.
