There can be two types of researchers, those with no or just few published works, we call them novice. On the other hand, other class of researchers possess a good number of published articles in a particular domain. What in your opinion is the difference in the requirements between these two kinds of researchers when they visit a digital library to find a relevant research article.?

In my opinion, there should be similar requirements from both types of researchers, that is, being knowledgeable about what they are searching, knowing the databases features and limitations while searching, and being open to the possibility of serendipitous findings.
Wisdom separates the two kinds of researchers in terms of data management tree. You only gather wisdom with experience and competence through professionalism,
Expert researchers limit the outlets they search for articles as they know there is a trade off between the number of articles and the time spending on searching different sources.
