What could be the reason for very low current in capillary isoelectric focusing other than elecrolytes and ampholytes?

I am developing method of capillary isoelectric focusing for a biomolecule. During run i got very low current profile which is unusual for separation of pI markers. I ensured electrolytes, intact capillary and proper ampholytes but the problem persists. what could be other reason for the same?
