What could be causing the PC12 (CRL-1721) cell line to exhibit adherent characteristics?

I have been working with the PC12 (CRL-1721) cell line since 2020. Although these cells are typically suspension cells, they have recently started to exhibit adherent characteristics, and I am no longer able to detach them from the plate surface using trypsin. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?
