Hi,

I am planning to use the ATPase/GTPase Activity Assay Kit from Sigma to determine the activity of Na/K-ATPase. Since this kit measures all ATPase/GTPase activity, I want to use the Na/K-ATPase inhibitor ouabain to look specifically at the NaK-ATPase activity. In the protocol provided by Sigma, there is no mention of an inhibitor and also in the articles that are linked to this product, no ouabain was used. Does anyone have any experience with this kit and using it together with ouabain? And if so, what concentrations do you use?

Thank you for any input you might provide!
