There are many different causes of reading struggles and many different ,
in the achievement level. For example, often those are factors beyond school influence, such as the income level and education, which correlates
with the academic achievements of students, but there are quite many factors
that influence students’ learning achievements at school. Some factors such as parents’ education, financial position, and attitude towards education could be also more affected the learning process.
I am not certain what your question is...there are many reasons for students manifesting weaknesses in early reading and poor teaching is certainly one of the reasons (as I think you intended above). I think that a big reasons is that students come to the literacy classroom with a lack of prior reading experience....especially based upon reading for meaning experiences and are faced with a code-oriented (rather than a meaning-oriented) approach to reading...and so they have little or no basis for reading for meaning.
In the beginning, it must be clarified that the question in English form is different from what is written in Arabic.
I start with the words of David Blunkett
'A child who can not read can not learn'
The phonology teaches how to pronounce the letters correctly, so teachers must be taught before others to pronounce characters and develop reading skills, and it is not a disadvantage to introduce them in development courses. After that students are directed to teach them pronunciation and reading skills. Reading silently, and then speaking through it through Follow-up of education software will accelerate the development of reading skills
Well, language skills are primary in the developmental cycle . When I was kid as far as I remember , my teachers would make us read text books/newspapers etc etc . We where encourage to get into debates too. At home one of my Aunt would ask us to read loudly so that while she was doing her work she could correct us ...
Low logic and reasoning is what can cause the concrete thinker to have trouble with understanding books at the fourth grade level and beyond. At this point, many books include symbolism, similes and metaphors which mean nothing.
