Usually we say that the charges will redistribute over the surface of the sphere so that the net electric field inside a conductor becomes zero. But in the above case, there exists no possible charge distribution (of course, keeping the quantisation of charge in consideration). Quantum theory seemingly suggests that by superposition, the electron can be at two different places at same time. But, at such macroscopic level, is it possible for superposition to play effectively?
