We may have to work creating conditions favorable to expansion of aquatic life, improving quality of water, recovery of chemicals from sea, producing chemicals from agricultural produce while working on nutrients for increasing the yields, etc.
One of our most important biological resources which can help mitigate climate change and provide for the expansion of biological resources which have recreation, ecological and economic value is the generating of new regenerated reef production. The ocean which is experiencing decline of reefs seem to be related to increasing ocean acidity related to how greenhouse gases are changing the atmosphere and ocean. Decomissioning ships can stimulate proliferation of reefs. The use of coal aggregates from power plants can be used as means of eliminating its terrestrial issues and serve as reef habitats of materials which by nature are alkaline and could be used as part of way of regenerating reefs. Scientists are learning about the cultivation of reef organism and the reef strategy could have some very efficient positive benefits. Coral reefs have vast potential to counteract greenhouse gases and provide increased biological productivity. Coral reefs are considered some of the highest productive habitats on the planet and there need to understand and regenerate them for your global biosystem.
The Engineers & scientists of today & tomorrow have clear task of consolidating the gains of technologies to harness nature, to conserve,to protect against denudation, to extract metals/chemicals from natural wastes,to upgrade the quality of natural products,to develop quality substitutes with lower quality materials, to be able to selectively extract valuables while reinvesting in nature.

Our society is resource driven. Currently, we mostly depend on natural resources in almost all spheres of manufacturing. This is resulting in the fast depletion of our natural resources. In my opinion, we should focus on finding and establishing in secondary resources to reduce the depletion rate of the resources. We have to make the recycling technologies sustainable and eco-friendly. Subsequently we have to make people aware of the upcoming problem. We have to bring them under the circular economy framework. It is a multi-dimensional problem and needs the support of government, industry, academics and general public.
In my opinion the ensuring of favourable conditions to expansion of aquatic life, improving quality of water, recovery of chemicals from depleted used materials or aquifers, is a multifaceted issue that necessitates both technological adaptability/utility (no necessarily detrimental intervention) to environmental sources, as well as social cohesion upon collective actions consented at regional or international levels of reference. Among others, circular economy is proven a promising and attractive tool to frame the shared responsibilities upon such common goods and the concurring actions taken to protect them in the future. Actually the critical issues that have to be handled are the conflict of interest arousal among the stakeholders: government, industry, academics and general public –indicatively noting the principles of “the polluter pays”, “not in my backyard”, and “willingness to pay”– as well as the complexity of monetary appreciation of non-commercial/non-tradable environmental assets.
Man learned to tamper with nature and altar it to suite him self with progress of science and technology over the years. We have to focus on research and development being carried out by the International community of scientist to harness nature.
