just as above, so we are using a PDMS membrane as a adhensiv sheet between wafer and samples, every time when these samples need to be heated, there comes bubbles from the undere PDMS membrane so those samples fall from the wafer.anyone has some idea for removing these anoying bubbles?
you need to laminate the film very tightly and slowly to remove any minute gas residue at the interface
Are you degassing the PDMS prior to application? Without vacuum equipment I've found sealing a small amount of PDMS in a large syringe with parafilm (10ml PDMS in 50ml syringe) and applying negative pressure works quite well to remove most bubbles, especially if repeated several times.
may be due to outgassing, you may try heating the pdms before applying the samples, to let solvent go out.

thank you all for the valuable answers, i have tried to heat the PDMS and tried to apply negative pressure on it, the good news is it works really well with a 180°C heating .
