I am working on the prototype of a three phase bidirectional dual active bridge DC DC converter?I am having DC offset in the current on the primary side of the transformers which is causing loss of efficiency.I would be grateful if any one in this community can shed some light on the potential causes of DC offset?
There are some reasons which cross the mind
1- When the duty cycle is so large the voltage-second balance of the inductor will not be obtained. Therefore, the saved energy in the inductor causes a DC-offset. For this reason, you need to determine the maximum duty cycle in the design procedure.
2- A big leakage inductance of the inductor leads to DC-offset production because of the amount of saved energy in the inductor.
3- Depending on the converter topology a large volume capacitor in the input can cause DC-offset.
did you solve your problem. i am having same problem in DAB.
