I agree with your article. Antioxidants like Vit C and E beside herbal medicine like Algomed and Cinamon-plus has more effect in fatty liver disease.

I haven't reviewed any research on algae or chorella until today in fatty liver or NASH although personally I take chorella 4 tabs daily my self, but not for fatty liver or NASH. I just downloaded the Ebrahimi-Mameghani article just now. Chorella and cinnamon are not on the pharmacy list of VA Clinics or Hospitals. However, I am no longer restricted to them as I am back in private practice! 5-10 % of chorella in a diet does seem fairly difficult to achieve in an typical USA diet although Japanese would have no trouble with this. The C vulgaris diet also contained 23.8 mg niacin in improving lipid control which is also not very typical and is most likely another reason this combination worked.
