There are at least hundreds of methods have been tested in the literature such as heuristic approach (AHP, promethee etc), bivariate (frequency ratio, weight of evidence, index of entropy, evidential belief function, infoval, certainity factor and so on..) multivariate (logistic regression and adoptive spline regression), machine learning techniques (ANN, support vector machine, decision trees like random forest and so on). Choosing a method is depends on your study area and number of landslide occurrence. ROC-AUC is considered as the best method to validate the predicted model.
