Please share the details you look out for when analyzing data/ or raw results from experiments (both qualitative and quantitative). How do you make your discussion sections look not just like a lab report but an actual discussion of data (graphs).
Which software work well and easy to use in your field of study?
Hello David,
You can try the software "Origin " for your graphs. Its quite manageable for most of basic graph plots.
Also for raw data analysis, I guess repeatability (can the same or similar data be obtained when verification experiment is to be carried out?), reliability (does it comply with available standards procedures?) and credibility of the of raw- data is key. For the results discussion, I think its always great explaining and discussing with the potential readers in mind. Simplicity and accurateness is also very important.

How this is done and even the best software for you will vary by context. I am guessing you purposefully left out contextual details to try to get general advise. If this is not why you left this information out then it would be worth supplying them.
