I hope you are agreeing on following determinations: bioaccumulation –increase in concentration of a pollutant from the environment to various aquatic species in a food chain; biomagnifications – increase in concentration of a pollutant from one trophic level in a food chain to another. I used these in all my studies on fish contamination with residuals of pesticides and heavy metals in Aral Sea Basin.

Of course, you can add more morph-metrical, physiological, seasonal, etc. indicators which will enhance scientific value of your research results. It is very important to study residuals in sexual products (impact on reproduction) and fish muscles (mainly consumed by human).
