Beauveria brongniartii is an insect pathogenic fungus that kills a lot of arthropod including the sting bugs (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae). The abundance and prevalence of Beauveria spp upon soil on different agroecosystems is topic of study of many researchers, but it is necessary to know what species of Beauveria are inciding in these agroecosystems. Commonly is used molecular technics such as PCR to identify the fungi species. For this reazon specific primers are used in this kind of test to amplify genes and compare the DNA sequences.
