I would agree with all that is wonderfully described in the envision website. I would like to add one more, although I'm sure there are others, involvement. Students need to know how to get involved in issues that impact their lives and the lives generally in their country and the planet. Passivity is no longer an option.
Each field has its own set of skills required in the 21st century. So, to identify what skills are required in the 21st century for students, the field specification needs to identified.
Excellent participation, students really need to know how to participate in issues that affect their lives and life in general in their country and the world at large.
