It is high time we start looking at HRM as Human RELATIONS Management than Human Resource Management. Human is more than a resource and need to be treated that way.
Having served as a public sector Human Resources Professional, and having obtained 1) the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification, 2) the Global Professional in Human Resources certification, and 3) a PhD with a specialization in HRM from a business perspective, I do not see a lot of difference between public and private sector HRM.
