I was running potentiodynamic test, while the test I got overload ( I overload and CA overload). based on Gamry maybe the surface area is too big so the potentiostat cannot measure the current, because I'm sure about wires connections.
by the way, when I get this issue the test is stopped, and I should make F2 skip.
The reason is loose contact - no proper connections between electrodes and instruments
The current range selected - limitations of your instrement
i do not more about Gamry - i know PARR
The most common reason is the narrow current range selected or a contact problem during your measurement, have you checked if you are not producing bubbles over your working electrode surface when you are sweeping the potential?
please check
1. remove all rust or scales from the crocodile clips
2. check the Luggin capillary - avoid air bubbles
3. keep at the current range
4. if the WE is powder compact see the electrical contact
5. please check each electrode for conductivity
