I think this is the negative point of fractional calculus because their field of application is very poor.

Recently, a series of papers have been published in which some new concepts of fractional derivatives are introduced, such as: conformable fractional derivative, deformable derivative or α-derivative, M-fractional derivative, Katugampola fractional derivative and so on.
In my opinion, but also that of other mathematicians, these types of fractional derivatives have no mathematical or physical relevance.
