The raw material for Urea is anhydrous ammonia, which is manufactured from air and natural gas by Haber-Bosch process.
The TSP is prepared from phosphate rock with either sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid.
The MOP is refined from sylvinite ore.
I am agree with Prof.J.C.Tarafadar...You require anhydrous ammonia for preparation of urea.
The raw materials of fertiliser from minerals contain heavy metals like Cd, Pb and so on.
1. In addition to anhydrous ammonia, the other important raw material is the source of C; the most economic source of which is natural gas.
2.TSP is made by reacting phosphate rock with phosphoric acid.
3. MOP is mined as such. The raw product is only processed.

MOP preparation requires either Sylvinite or Canallite as mineral.
TSP may contain Cd as trace materials in the phosphate rock. It may also contain Pb but not all the time. Trace elements mostly depends on the type of the rock. some rock phosphates may not contain Pb.
In Urea, as a result of H-B reaction it is rare to contain heavy metals
MOP also doesn't contain such materials if it is processed only from ground ore like dead sea products or Kali- Sals.
