Hydrofluro-Olefins is the new generation of refrigerants that have a much lessened global warming potential than its HFC alternatives. One example being the 134a alternative, 1234YF, which is 335 times lower on the global warming potential scale and only four times higher than standard carbon dioxide.

In domestic refrigerators F-12, CCl2F2 (dichloro diflouro methane) is used as refrigerant. Whereas in some of the air conditioners F-22 is used.

The refrigerant used is F-22 in air conditioning system.

The refrigerant used in domestic refrigerators is F-12 and in air conditioners is F-22. The other refrigerants are carbon dioxide, ammonia etc.

There are many refrigerants used in air conditioners. Out of which F-22 is used as a refrigerant in air conditioner.

Refrigerants are so many, carbon dioxide, ammonia, di chloro di fluro methane erc.

CFCs and HCFCs are known to us. In current scenario, I see some top brands using environment friendly refrigerants. However, they are a tad expensive.

In air conditioning several refrigerants are used. The refrigerants used are mono chloro difluoro methane (Freon- 22), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Sulphur dioxide (SO2), Ammonia (NH3) etc.

There are many refrigerants used in airconditioning such as chloroflouro methane, sulphur dioxide, ammonia etc. The type of refrigerant used depends on the purpose in which it is meant for. Airconditioning are taken to be summer airconditioning and.winter airconditioning systems.

Presently refrigerants used are Freon-12, Freon-22, R-134, Sulphur dioxide, Ammonia etc. Refrigerants produce cooling effect and gives amicable working conditions.
