4. What are potential models to study the blood pressure for those 5 SNPs?
In the strict sense, there are 2 principal ways to assess BP response – an absolute change from baseline to selected time points during the study and percent of responders (defined as those in whom the absolute change of BP from baseline exceeds some pre-defined threshold, e.g. for systolic BP – the decrease 10 mmHg or greater). The first measures the individual BP response to the intervention; the second – the response of the specific population.
I have a repeated BP measurements in a longitudinal study - These patients have been treated with ACEi/ARB - I would like to study the BP response in the cohort!
