We have Solartron SI 1260 FRA Impedance analyzer with Eurotherm furnace. It gives good quality cole-cole curves when the probostat is placed out side the furnace chamber. But as soon as we place it in the furnace, we get negative and stray data points (Even if the furnace is in OFF condition). Lab temperature is ~20 degree Celsius these days.
Hi, I observed something similar with our Novocontrol analyzer and our self made cell. The problem occurred when the measurement wires and the cell casing (connected to ground) were separated (or rather connected) by an ion conducting material. In some cases you can measure some conductivity between the casing and the wires with a multimeter. Do you have a picture of your cell and your furnace?
Hello Dawid, Thanks you for your attention given to the question. In our case, when the probostat (containing sample) is disturbed (say even if we just gently touch the stand on which probostat is fixed), the whole data goes wrong. Seems like somehow leakage of signal is there. I will take a photo and upload soon.

if touching the stand affects your measurement, there seems to be a connection between (possibly multiple) measurement wires and your stand. So, I'll wait for the picture. Then we can find the leak.
