Many researchers have suggested to use surveys,Randomized response methods to identify the behavior in sensitive situations. I have experienced that some observations during field visits can generate reliable information than a questionnaire surveys or interviews. Therefore, I would like to know a best method to conduct data collection during such situations.
To verify the compliance of standards it is very useful to use checklists, when applying this tool should seek the evidence of compliance with what is established in the rules.
Thanks Yin and Marcos, I developed a questionnaire including a checklist based on the standards. But When I went for the field data collection, I found that the respondents answers were not matching with the actual behavior. Perhaps observations are better than developing questions though it is subjective.
