Hello everybody,

Downy mildew disease is a common problem in cucumber. The initial symptoms in cucumber seem to be angular or blocky, yellow areas visible on the upper surface of the leaves, when the lesions mature, they enlarge rapidly and turn brown. The underneath surface of infected leaves appears to be water soaked. During the disease-favorable conditions, downy mildew will spread quickly, destroying cucumber leaves within few days. Severe infection results in leaves that are totally dead and curly up, causing major economic losses to the farmers. I would appreciated very much,if you kindly mention any suitable method (biological control) to get rid of this disease.
