I am not able to find out that at which heating rate I should do TGA, whether it should be the same at which I made biochar or I can vary it.....and how I determine it......??? How do I fix the gas flow rate also......??
It depends on what information you want from TGA, e.g., amount of nanoparticles or burning behavior or something else.
If you want to know oxidation behavior of your material then do it in oxygen ambient.
If you want to know net content without oxidation then do it in the nitrogen ambient.
If you are using nanoparticles then use low flow rates. Ramp rate decides the resolution, you can start by 10oC/min.

I think for thermal stability you should go for 5 K/min. Nitrogen flow rate does not matter that much- generally 30-60 ml/min is advised. If you have sufficient inert gas (N2) then go for higher levels.
