Dear Walter Matli Their lives and health are threatened, their opportunities for advancement are limited and their movements are limited by the conditions of the pandemic itself, Best regards.
Walter, this is an important and pertinent question to pose. From anecdotal evidence, it appears as if there has been an overall adverse impact of COVID-19 not only on the lives and livelihoods of young people but also a range of age-groups across populations in developed and developing countries. Aspects such as education, health, art and the music industry, job prospects and so on have been affected in one way or the other. The good part of the ravaging impacts of the pandemic is the way people have pulled together, the unification between communities, the acts of kindness and generosity and so on. These have mitigated against what would have been a sadder state of affairs had such measures not been operationalised. Interesting discussion...
Dear Mr. Matli, Young persons are an important segment of our global society. A helping hand to all of them is a must! Encouraging home-based, online small-business is vital to help them earn living especially during lockdown times!
