Agree with Manisha Madam....Guyton was a textbook everyone read in our times but Ganong was one of the best books to have in your closet.....you could read it and even answer your essay type questions from it...besides these two we even read Sambulingam at the end to revise our topics.
Guyton and Hall textbook will do for a detailed concept. Sembulingam is very simple and colourful but not detailed as Guyton. As a student i have issues understanding Ganong

This is a relevant question. I wish to also state that there is a lack of standard texts that focus on experimental physiology, especially in light of the current advancements in world of Physiology.
