Can anyone recommend me a list of "must read papers" that can help me to well understand the concept of using Machine Learning techniques in Named entity recongnition field?
I'm not giving you a single paper, there's too much around and you are going to have to tailor your reading to your specific research area. However, I do recommend you start by looking at some of the named entity material in answering factoid questions in Trec-QA.
