I am looking to perform immunophenotyping of immune cells within B16F10 flank tumors following treatment with a therapeutic antibody. A question I have is what are good markers to identify activated NK cells? That is, NK cells that have been activated through FcgRIV and degranulated. I have come across this publication:

It identifies CD25, NKp44 and CD107a as useful markers for function on human NK cells. Are these markers also useful for mouse NK cells?
Though I am not experienced well on the analysis of activated NK cells, I've found the following web page useful. You may find a table listing potential markers for your analysis, including CD25, CD107a, and NKp46 (not NKp44).

Mouse NK cell classification
In mouse the expression levels of CD27 (CD27+ and CD27- ) define the two major subsets of NK cells (Hayakawa and Smyth, 2006). The CD11bhighCD27high NK subset exhibits higher levels of both cytokine production and cytotoxicity. Mouse NK cells are also typically NK1.1+ (Lanier et al. 1986) FcgammaRIII+ (CD16), CD122+ (activation receptor required for NK cells IL-15 responsiveness), and CD3- . They also express low levels of markers found on dendritic cells (CD11c), B cells (CD45R) and T cells (CD2). An NK phenotype of CD3- CD49b+CD122+ will identify NK cells in NK1.1+ and NK1.1- mice. NKp46 (also called NCR1 or CD335) has been put forward as the most specific marker for NK cells in mammalian cells (Westgaard et al. 2004; Walzer et al. 2007). These subsets differ in their expression of activation, inhibitory and chemokine receptors, with the CD11bhighCD27high NK subset exhibits higher levels of both cytokine production and cytotoxicity (Hayakawa and Smyth 2006).
