Hi, electrical energy router is one of the key devices in Energy Internet application. From the topology perspective, solid state transformer / power electronics transformer, including cascade H-bridge converter (ISOP, DAB), modular multilevel converter (MMC) are introduced. However, is there any more promising topologies for electrical power routers?

Besides the higher system level topology, the detailed power conversion topologies are also prefered, such as solid state transformer, etc. :)
