What are the most environmentally friendly solvents or processes for coal desulphurization?

Dear all,

I am currently working on selected high sulphur Cretaceous coals from Nigeria. As such, I am exploring the most environmentally friendly solvents or processes to carry out desulfurization. Let me know your thoughts, many thanks in advance.

Moreover, more advanced is Fluidized Bed Combustion it reduce the emission of N and S for about 90%.
