I have a sealing problem regarding safety valves placed C02 experimental setup. Safety valve's gaskets have been distrupting permanently because this system doesn't run every time and safety valve is exposed instant changes, thereby the gaskets wear down and finally the CO2 gas drain away my system quickly. I would like to thankful if you could help me. Thanks.
It looks like you have selected wrong seal material or wrong valve type. Safety valves rated for CO2 service should wihtstand pressure changes below set value. See, for instace http://www.mcmaster.com p/n 8089K12
If you normally operate close to valve's set pressure - probably you should consider a relief valve (rated for CO2 service, http://www.mcmaster.com p/n 49315K73) plus a safety valve set for higher pressure?
