Which papers and/or concepts would you say are mandatory for any stress-focused scientist to know? I am extremely curious:-)
By stress, I mean the Hans Selye's-like perspective of the whole-body reaction, not the cellular or molecular basis of stress.
Stages of General Adaptation Syndrome Model by Hans Selye is an important contribution to understand stress. However, there are many types of whole-body stress reactions like post-traumatic stress syndrom. We have done research on moral stress and distress in health-care workers. I added also the most known stress scale by H & R. I want also to add papers about factors that lead to stress:
