I have several questions related to patent:

What are the differences between a scientific research article and a patent?

does a patent go through similar peer review as journal publications?

when you can say that your work or idea can be patented ?

what are the popular organisations that host patents in computer science field ?

Getting a patient is not easy task. You should have a novel idea that can be realized and implemented and be useful for the humanity. For obtaining the patient you should pass the following steps.

Do a proper documentation including the required drawings.

A specialized comity on the side you apply to get the patient examines the details and takes a decision for the appropriateness.

If it is OK it is required to get a real Prototype.

The Economical considerations of the prototype is studied carefully especially for mass product.

If it is Ok, the patient is issued and you have two options one of them is to keep the rights of the patient for you or you leave the rights for the services of the humanity.

Each Country has its special place for issuing the patients but some countries accept to apply from external countries.
