What are the dep red spots/dots/mole like structure distributed in intestinal mass of carps?

Hello Sir/Madam,

I often observe dark red spots, dots, or mole-like structures embedded within the intestinal mass of carps. Could you please tell me what they might be?

Dear Raju Baitha

The red spots/patches observed could be an indication of inflammation. Whenever there is an inflammation, it is often an indication of various issues like infection, toxicity or damage to the intestinal barrier.
