Hi there, I am interested in investigating the usage of the waste water( particularly maybe dairy waste waster ) for the cultivation of microalgae (particularly Chorella sp.), would like to understand better the current challenges faced in the cultivation of Chlorella sp. from dairy waste water ? Any insight shared would be much appreciated. For example, is the cost of the biological/biorefinery processes considered too high, making the process not very cost effective ? Are there are some toxic by-products produced in the process ? Rate of the biomass produced is too slow and not being able to meet the demands? etc.
