Regarding technology theories, a series of models have come into existence, say the TPACK, the UTAUT, R2D2 or SAMR. I am pretty much concerned with other theories that provide connections between technology and learning or learning enhanced by the use of technology. One of them can be Feenberg's critical theory of technology. How about others? I look forward to receiving your sharing on this area.

I find Feenberg very heavy going :-( Siemens and his colleague Stephen Downes, who like Feenberg is also a philosopher, I find are much easier to understand. You might enjoy Stephen's long-running and popular OLDaily E-Learning News: http://www.downes.ca/ for some more current opinions and ideas.
Regarding learning enhanced by the use of technology, the Trialogical learning approach, highlighting the knowledge creation metaphor on learning (Paavola & Hakkarainen, 2005;2009), offers a theoretical framework building on the knowledge building theory (Scardamalia & Bereiter, 2006) as well cultural-historical activity theory's object-oriented activities (CHAT).
My suggestion is that, before you start reading about educational theories on learning and technology, read the book "Brain Rules"; it will help you discern which theories may be useful and which ones just mumble jumble.
