Is a good question, in fact I was wondering which protein on the lipid droplets help the virus to assemble. Is the scaffold given by Perilipin A or maybe one of the proteins that is recruited like CGI-58? Or use the energy given by the TAG hydrolysis ? The formation of the LD is drive by the scaffold and it is modified by PKA cascade. LD can be suppressed avoiding the formation of the scaffold.
