High resolution manometry (HRM) is used to measure pharyngeal and oesophageal pressure during specific tasks. Most often during swallowing. It consits in a catheter with 36 sensors spaced 1cm appart, inserted through nostrils, to measure moving pressure down the aerodigestic stract.

But i look for another solution to measure only a specifique part of the pharynx. Precisely, i need to record the pressure at the velopharynx during a swallowing. May be normal pressure sensors would do the job ?
