A preterm neonate is likely to have more complications than a term one at birth. Some of them may not survive. Those who survive may develop neurological complications later on. Are there any findings in the neonate (clinical/ investigative) which may indicate later development of neulogical complications?

in early neonatal life and infancy, i assume that imaging and perhaps general movements are the better predictors ?
Karel Allegaert Thanks. Anything specific to be seen in imaging? Would like to know how general movements are likely to be predictors of later development of visible neurological aberration. If they are grossly abnormal during early life, it's obvious for that age itself. Is there any literature in this regard?
