As you have given suggestion I am thankful to you, but the method of preparation i.e polymerization of divinyl benzene with styrene in presence of promoting agent like Benzoyl peroxide and diluent Toluene at elevated temperature then treated with sulphonation using thionyl chloride in presence of formaldehyde+methanol.
The resultant resin is treated with sodium carbonate for neutralization for stable. Do u mean that this is XAD resin Please clarify this
