Good day. I have made electron-only devices with a vertical injection structure. The devices have a bottom anode and top cathode with the active layer sandwiched between them. The structure is similar to the structure of OLEDs with 2x2 mm active area. And I'm experiencing difficulty to understand what should be considered the channel length. Does the channel have the same dimensions as the active area in such devices or the channel length is the same as the film thickness as the injection is vertical and the distance between the electrodes is defined by the film thickness? What is the channel width in that case? Does anyone know how to define the channel dimensions if you use an OLED configuration for electron- or hole-only device structure?
