I am looking into the suitability of an area of Burkina Faso for particular water harvesting interventions. Right now I am just trying to find the most up to date discussion on the biophysical requirements for water harvesting techniques.
It will be wise to identify the purpose of the RWH structure (recharge of GW wells, direct household consumption, irrigation, etc). This will provide partial information on the location, landscape profile and hydrogeologic characteristics suitable for the RWH structure.
Pl refer to my paper in Agricultural Water Management. I have given a full methodology for design of water harvesting system. In case of any problem you can write to me [email protected]
