I am a p.h.D student investigating the motive, enabler and barrier factors toward the adoption of sustainability in the supply chain through applying multiple case studies.
After I finished my literature review, I have identified and discussed so many factors. for example, in the enabler section, I have been able to identify 13 main enablers. so, my concern is about how i can develop a good interview questions. I have an idea which giving the the chance for the interviewer to decide which factors he/she sees important. then, I can ask questions regarding those important factors. I appreciate your thought

When you say that you want to do case studies, it sounds like you intend to do qualitative interviews. If so, the usual approach would be to ask broad questions that allow you hear about the participants' experiences and beliefs. Then, in your analysis, you could examine specific code categories to determine what was or was not mentioned. In this case, you would ask general questions about "enablers" and then apply the code categories from your literature review.
In terms of writing and conducting qualitative interviews, I recommend a book by Rubn & Runib, Qualitative Interviewing: The Art of Hearing Data.
